People! What do you see?

Hello and Welcome!

Day 38 of my 365 Day Photography Journey.

As a photographer I look at people differently then when I'm not. We talk about people watching but to what extent do we inquire. not verbally but mentally? Do we take the time to ask questions of interest, empathy and concern, or do we look to amuse ourselves?

The image above is a of a bee keeper in the Riverside area. I don't know her name. Where has she been? Who's waiting at home for her? Does she have kids, or maybe grand kids? How long has she worked at keeping bees? Was it a hobby that grew? Did she grow up wanting to be a doctor or a truck driver? Maybe she just grew up wanting to be someones princess?

Does this man enjoy his job? Does he have a wife at home? Does he have a home? Where was he born? Does we want to go home? Does he miss his home town?

Best friends forever? Planning a party? Married? What are their dreams?

Where's he going and who will be there when he arrives? What did or does he do for a living? Has he lost love ones? Is there someone he misses?

Where does he want to be? Who does he want to be with? What does he want to say, to a close one? Where's he going to be tonight?

Does he have family? What do they call him? What have his eyes seen in his life time? Who was his first love? Does he still think about days when he was young?

Where's she from? Where's she going? Does her family know where she is? Does she have kids of her own? What are her goals?

Will he be with us tomorrow? Are they depressed? Are they at peace? I wonder if they need my help? Can I help them?

What does she dream of? Where is she going to be in 10 years? Will she be pleased with her progress in life?

What motivates him? What motivates her? Why did they stop to listen? Why does he feel the need to share? What was his childhood like? Did he play baseball?

Does he like his photo taken? Does she like her photo taken? What kind of life have you experienced? The camera can only tell me what the light was doing at the time of capture. It tells me nothing about your history and that which makes you.

Why are you here? Where would you like to ride? Are these others your friends? Did you get in a fight with any of them over something stupid?

?

Reflections are what the worlds sees, light reflecting off a surface, but not who and what they are. To know us you must dig. None of the images above tells you what makes that person. Do you care?

Make a Great Day!
